Provide opportunities to build self-esteem by focusing on students strengths. 6. Use modeling with both teachers and peers. 7. Relate learning to children's lives. 8. Establish a pleasant classroom environment that encourages students to ask questions and become actively involved. |
Possible Accommodations and Providing Opportunities for Students:
-Having planned activities for them -People in the class have to write a 6 page essay on the study of life. Jermoy, has ADHD and has a helper come to class to help him read and write papers. The teacher will provide him to do a 2 page paper on the study of life instead of 6. |
Having a welcoming and safe environment is so important. Students will learn more efficiently when they are in an organized and clean classroom.
